So, um, yeah. My dear, darling boyfriend set this up for me long, long ago (okay, it was November), but I didn’t use it. Because I’m bad. And sorta lazy. Fortunately, he still loves me.
Anyway, I’m using it now to document my 6 semester journey through library school. Hopefully it will only take 6 semesters. Gosh. I really, really hope it only takes 6 semesters.
I start this month by flying out to glamorous Champaign-Urbana for 10 days. If all goes well, you can expect some posts and pictures from that trip as well as posts over the next two years about how I’m surviving the distance-ed program I’m enrolled in. Then you can celebrate with me when (if?) I get my Masters in Library and Information Science in August of 2007.
Yeah. So. Um. Here’s to Library School, y’all.

She left out a weeee bit. She had requested I create her a blog, but a day or two later found a free online one, which she said she was “just playing with, to see if she liked blogging, but would use the one she asked me to make…” (which, I’ll note was ready at that time – less than a week after she asked, and about a day after she found the online one). One year later…
But, as she points out, I do still love her. I’ll just have to ask her for something she’ll put a lot of time into and then go get some free version and not use hers… Hmmm… =)
All that bitching aside, Lynn, I’m super, super, super proud of you. Not many people have the guts, intelligence, confidence, or inspiration to not only go back to school, but to get into the #1 library school in the country. You should be very, very, very proud of yourself – I’m certainly very proud of you.
