… hell, for that matter, not all of us worship anything!
Ya know, stores are open on Yom Kippur and Rosh Hashana because there are plenty of Christians to work those days. Similarly Ralphs, Vons, Starbucks, and Home Depot manage to be open on fucking Easter – so what the fuck is wrong with Target, Best Buy, and Circuit City, and tons of other major stores – the fucking anti-semitic fuckasses?
There are plenty of Jews, agnostics, atheists, non-religious people, and people of various eastern faiths that keeping a store open should not be a fucking issue.
In fact, speaking to the manager at Ralph’s, it sounds like you needed to take Easter off if you wanted it: they were understaffed and discussing how to deal with it and her response to my query was, “we have a lot of new people who apparently forgot they needed to come in today.” If I have to take off a day for Yom Kippur, you need to take a day off for Easter.
Some of us continue to function normally despite the young ~2000 year old religion based on a man who decided he was God half-way through his life. Don’t hinder our ability to do the things we need to do because of your religious biases.
Happy motherfucking Easter.

I totall agree! My roommate and I were going to go to Target today to pick up some things. As we pulled into the empty parking lot we remembered that it was fucking Easter and everything (Except Old Navy, where my other roommate works) was closed. Yet, there seemed to be many people out and about driving anyway!
Haven’t talked to you in a while. I hope things are well. Miss ya!
Just call it a Passover celebration. Sheesh. Besides, as you well know, modern Easter celebrations have more to do with the Pagan Spring holiday for renewal than for the Resurrection. And anybody can appreciate Spring.
I didn’t die in a war, but I’m still okay with store closure on Memorial Day. I just eat a fucking bratwurst and enjoy it.
Except for that whole not being able to buy fresh bratwurst because the motherfucking store us closed…
