I find that people are ever more sticking large telephone poles up their asses. If I say “hey that’s a dumb idea” it doesn’t mean “hey you’re a dumbfuck” it means “hey that’s a dumb idea.” Why are people so fucking high and mighty that they can’t accept the fact that they might have a dumb fucking idea? I have dumb fucking ideas all the time and only about half the time do people have the balls to go “hey that’s a dumb fucking idea”… and that’s retarded. Grow up people. Say it however you want, but don’t be afraid to be honest.
I did a lot of thinking recently. Over the last several years, but in the last 6 months in particular, I’ve had lots of people warn me about how harsh I come off, and how some people aren’t used to that, etc. And that made me re-think how I approached certain people, and I learned that some situations require more tact. And that’s still true.
But people still felt that even outside of those situations I came off too harsh. They warned and warned, coaxed and coaxed. Consequently, little by little, I’ve been sugar coating more, refraining from commenting more, watering down more, and keeping more to myself. But contrary to what one might expect I’ve had more people offended by me, more people who can’t handle me, and more people who just fucking whine about me.
So that’s it. I’m done. I hereby return to being myself. 100% honest. From now on…
- If you ask me if I like your sweater and the answer is “not really” you’re going to get “not really” (okay, you’ll probably get an “eh, it’s not really my thing, sorry”)
- If you tell me you just bought a [Care Bear wallet, Hello Kitty purse, Barbie dress, etc.], I’m going to tell you that you’re not 12 any more and you should move on.
- If you say “nuh uh sista” or “yeahuh gurlfren” and you’re not in a gang or uneducated enough to not know the English language I’m going to tell you to speak fucking English. This is particularly evil in people who are professors, like academia, have a masters in anything, or otherwise might be considered “academics.”
- If you give me a look when I interrupt you instead of just saying “hey, I was talking” I’m going to tell you to grow a pair.
- If you decide you want to sleep with some bimbo without a condom because she says she’s a virgin and you’ve only known her for 3 weeks, I’m going to tell you you’re the biggest dumb piece of shit I’ve ever met.
- If you don’t know that women get periods every month (okay, yeah, yeah, there’s exceptions, the cycle is roughly 28 days, etc… in general, asshole), I’m going to tell you that you’re the second dumbest piece of shit I’ve ever met.
- If you change the subject, or ignore me, or otherwise evade answering a question you were directly asked but don’t feel like answering I’m going to call you on it and tell you how rude you are being.
- If you want to stick your finger in an electrical socket, I’m going to tell you your being a fucking moron.
- If you don’t like what I’m doing and don’t tell me for 3 months, I’m going to tell you that you deserve it.
- If I suspect you’re trying to hint at it, I’m going to do it more until you fucking say something.
- If you can’t handle hearing opinions, you’re going to get more of them because ya know what? Opinions are like assholes – we all got ’em and they’re all different. Diversity is good.
- If I think you’re being a tree-hugging hippie communist, I’m going to tell you that you’re being a tree-hugging hippie communist.
- If you think this post means I’m in a bad mood I’m going to tell you that you’re wrong, you clearly don’t know anything about me, and that you’ve just put me in a bad mood.
- And if you call me rude, obnoxious, or annoying, I’m going to say “yeah, and?”
Ya know why? Because that’s who I am, that’s my honest reaction, that’s the truth, and that meant people got used to me or left, but I didn’t have to worry about keeping my reactions inside, sugar coating for whiny people, or people whining. And I especially don’t have to worry about pissing off someone which might piss of someone else which might hurt someone else…. gah. Give me a fucking break – what are we, children?
The best part is that just knowing that I’m being more honest has put me in a stupidly happy mood. I’ve been smiling all day. I feel sorry for those who haven’t known the full me — some growing pains may ensue. But I think at the end of the day I’m worth knowing even if I’m strong-willed, over opinionated, loud, and intimidating. And if you don’t think so, that’s okay, because otherwise you don’t really like me anyway, you like someone I’m pretending to be. And I wouldn’t respect anyone else pretending, so I’m done doing it myself. I’m just happy I realized what I was doing before it was too late.
A huge thanks to my friends and my girlfriend who have always supported me doing whatever it was I felt I had to do in life. I love you all.

Besides, if I don’t like what you have to say, you’re still shorter than me!
