So today Lynn and I changed my brake fluid and bled the brakes. We also changed one of my spark plugs (sadly, one wasn’t right and I gotta go pick up a new one), and then washed the bike. Man was that thinkg fucking dirty!
First let me just say, how cool of a fucking girlfriend do I have? She was willing to get all dirty and help me work on the bike! Go Lynn!
Anyway, after that, thanks to the kindness of KC, who lent me a helmet, I took the bike for the first real ride she’s had in 16 years. Since the bike is not registered or insured, it was a very short ride – around the block, down to the gas station (to fill the tires), around the block again, and then home.
