Welcome to the home of Tony and Marcus Phillips' MP3s.

To give you the brief history, I was hanging out at my friend Harry's place last year sometime, and he's like "I'm heading out to Marcus' concert, you want to come"? I'd never met Marcus, but I had nothing else to do, so I said why not. 30 or so people were there as Marcus played us songs about his life for about 2 hours in some dark corner of campus outside. It certainly wasn't my typical kind of music (given I'm a hard core Metallica fan), but there was something really powerful about it all. Ever since then I've been to a handful of his shows and bugged him regularly to give me a CD. Well I finally got one, and asked him if he wanted me to post MP3s, and he said yes. So here they are.

My current favorites are Angel on the Sidewalk, Keller's Song, and The Lesbian Song (hidden track around 11:30 of the last song, or here). I'm still learning the songs and their names though...

Note that the recording on this CD isn't great, but the performances are really good.
