Yet more proof rap is dumbing down our population…<\/p>\n

I’m at the gym tonight and an “Outkast” (sic) video comes on the TV (perhaps if rap stars weren’t priding themselves on being “crunk<\/a>” they’d be sober enough to remember how to spell). Since I workout with headphones on, I only watch the TV in passing – and only as much as I watch girls or anything else in the gym.<\/p>\n

Anyway, at one point I look up, and there’s a long slow shot of this dumbfuck putting toothpaste on a toothbrush. Wow, super cool! I hope one day I<\/strong> can do that! Oh, wait… Then, and I can’t believe this actually happened, he starts brushing his teeth, rolls his head back and around like he’s sucking some guy off and is getting off on it. A rap video where a guy brushes his teeth. Invigorating.<\/p>\n

What brain-dead, fucked up, mentally incapacitated, social reject thought this guy brushing his teeth would be a cool scene in a music video?<\/p>\n

And I’m told Outkast is “good” rap. So what the fuck happens in bad rap videos? We watch them shower? Wash their dishes? Sleep? Oh boy, oh boy, let me watch that, please, please, please, yay.<\/p>\n

Watching it made sticking my head in a blender seem like a highly intelligent idea. I’m not sure what’s lower – the maximum IQ possible for someone to desire seeing this, or the IQ one is left with after watching the whole video (I know I lost several IQ points, but at least I immediately stopped watching after the aforementioned scene).<\/p>\n

Unfathomably my girlfriend – an amazing woman who, despite losing the required 50 points of respect for liking rap, remains one of the people I respect the most and one of the few people who has enough brain cells to watch this and still be ridiculously smart – upon being told about this video said she’d probably like it. ::sigh:: One of the scariest moments of the last several months of my life…<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
