I was talking to a friend a few weeks back about the most annoying thing on the planet: stupid people. This is of course the<\/b> most annoying thing on the planet – I suspect that’s even true if you’re stupid, but who knows.<\/p>\n
When I say stupid, I mean people who pop wheelies on a motorcycle across 4 lines on the highway during traffic. People who walk into traffic without looking. People who accidentally shoot off a testicle by using a bullet as a fuse (see here<\/a> – scroll to “Arkansas”). People who blow dry their hair in the tub. Darwin Award<\/a> type stuff. You know – people who will die because they’re not meant to be alive. People who shouldn’t ever<\/b> have kids.<\/p>\n Which brought my friend to point out that natural selection didn’t seem to be effectively solving this problem like it should. To which my response was “well, natural selection works – it kills them off, but unfortunately they breed like fucking rats<\/b>.” And it’s true – dumb people seem to have more kids. Ever noticed the moron at the store who can’t seem to figure out which coupon is the right one is also the fuckass with 9 kids? I’m sure she’ll get hit by a bus, but nature isn’t quick enough to get all of her annoying spawn before they breed… especially since their mom isn’t smart enough to teach them about safe sex so they’ll be spawning more useless life forms by the time they’re 16.<\/p>\n And don’t get me wrong – it’s not about wealth; there are plenty of rich dumb motherfuckers with too many poor excuses for children. However, there is one problem that seems to plague dumb people who are also poor. It’s a problem that makes me want to drive a needle through my eyeball just at the thought of it. People who have kids for welfare money. Are you kidding me? That extra few bucks… will not cover the expense of the kid<\/b> much less provide extra money for you! And the saddest part isn’t that this happens. Oh no, I get that given rough circumstances and a poor education that someone could make such a mistake. I do understand that. But you’d think that after the second or third kid spawned from such an ill-conceived idea, they’d start to realize they are in fact in a worse position! All of a sudden the same bills are harder to pay! But they don’t. Or at least some don’t. And they have more kids. Kids who will (if they make it that far) grow up and make even dumber mistakes.<\/p>\n Of course dumb rich people make similarly stupid mistakes, but the example I felt like bitching about tonight happened to be the one above.<\/p>\n People should have to pass an IQ test to have a child. And if you can’t pass, you need to be able to breed with someone with such an exceptionally high IQ that the kid has a greater than 75% chance of being above the IQ limits for reproduction. And the IQ wouldn’t even need to be high. I don’t want a world of geniuses – the world needs more than just doctors and lawyers and lazy smart people. It just needs to be high enough to weed out the exceptionally brain-dead people that by their very nature shouldn’t have made it past the age of 5, but nature was too busy killing off other brain-less babies that it missed them.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":" I was talking to a friend a few weeks back about the most annoying thing on the planet: stupid people.
