When you leave 2 empty car lengths between you and the line, the lights don’t know anyone is in that lane, thus you and the rest of us have to wait longer! What are these people scared of? What advantage is there in waiting 40 feet back? It causes more traffic, takes more space, makes the lights longer – seriously, what the fuck?

But, God forbid these fucking assholes pull up behind me on a steep hill at a light. In that case they stop 2 inches from my fucking bumper. I guess driving an SUV makes these people forget that some cars are still manual transmission and will roll backwards on a hill before going forward!

This is supposed to be the other way – you give people room, but you pull up to the line, which doesn’t need any room.
