So I bought a motorcycle this weekend. No, wait. Last weekend, actually.<\/p>\n

So far this week I’ve:<\/p>\n

– Had a key made for it
\n– Purchased and installed a new battery
\n– Drained the gas tank and refilled it
\n– Cleaned rust off of a handful of electrical contacts
\n– Attempted to replace the sparkplugs (they sold me the wrong ones)
\n– Oiled the clutch and choke making them actually movable again<\/p>\n

Having done that, things are getting better. As of tonight, it appears there is an electrical issue somewhere as the electrical starter doesn’t work. Could be a lot of things:<\/p>\n

– Bad wires somewhere
\n– Bad connections somewhere
\n– Bad solenoid
\n– Bad starter<\/p>\n

But this will require a multi-tester and some time. Bit by bit, right?<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
