Somehow, that makes this all very real. It will be my second non-US show (saw a show in Canada), and my first European show. Purchasing those tickets was kinda big. I can&#8217;t explain why <em>that<\/em> makes it sink in, but it does.<\/p>\n<p>And while I&#8217;m at it, I should mention the questions everyone keeps asking me: are you ready? are you scared? are you excited?<\/p>\n<p>Well, I&#8217;m <strong>very<\/strong> excited. The new job, the new country, the new experiences are all incredibly exciting, and I can&#8217;t wait! I&#8217;m definitely not worried about going to Switzerland. I&#8217;m not scared, but if I&#8217;m nervous about anything, it&#8217;s about leaving L.A. behind because I really love this city. I know I&#8217;ll love Zurich, but I&#8217;ll definitely miss L.A. As for <em>ready<\/em>, that&#8217;s a complicated question. Am I mentally prepared for the transition? Yes. Am I actually all ready? No. I&#8217;m slowly wading through forms (insurance forms, customs forms, etc.) and To-Do lists, and trying to organize all of the innumerable things I&#8217;d like to get done before I leave. However, I&#8217;m on track to get all the things done that I set out to do between mid-January and mid-May.
