On November 7, 2002, Richard and I presented at the 16th Annual USENIX LISA Systems Administration Conference on the Path MTU Discovery Black Hole and the MSS Initiative. During their call for papers, we wrote a paper about these topics entitled Over-zealous Security Administrators Are Breaking the Internet and submitted it. And much to our pleasure and surprise it was accepted! We did a 30 minute talk. The paper and our slides are available below, and perhaps pictures to come.
